DESCRIPTION:The Welcome Ceremony marks the beginning of Black History Month at UTM held by the UTM Students’ Union\, Black@UTM at the Office of the Vice-President and Principal\, and the Equity\, Diversity\, and Inclusion Office. Held on Friday\, February 2nd\, 2024 at 5:00 PM in the Kaneff Rotunda\, this event brings all Black-identifying staff\, students\, faculty\, and alumni together to celebrate the month\, create a safe space based on lived experiences\, and engage in cultural games.
