About the Caribbean and Black Writing Collective (CDRS):
Writing can be hard! Sometimes we need help with our schoolwork, and sometimes it’s just easier to be creative and find inspiration when there are other people like you around. At CBWC, faculty members who have expertise in numeracy and writing instruction will be there to answer your questions, offer support related to your concerns, and help you with your writing. You can also just come to work on your assignments in the company of others who share your identity and learning experiences. You’ll be surprised about how much of a difference a collective of this nature can make for your writing experience and your academic journey at UTM.
