Black Table Talk

Hello UTM Community,
We invite you to UTM’s annual Black Table Talk. Please join us in celebrating Black students, staff, faculty and librarians, as we honour the culture. The event will be taking place on Wednesday November 19, 2025 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm, in the MN3230 CDRS Lounge at Maanjiwe nendamowinan building, UTM.
Black Table Talk is an empowering and insightful exploration of Blackness at the University of Toronto Mississauga, fostering meaningful conversations and connections.
This Welcome B(l)ack event is an in-person opportunity to enjoy refreshments while connecting and networking with Black students, staff, faculty, and librarians to collectively co-create spaces and inform initiatives that ensure Black knowledge, experiences, and identities are respected, celebrated, and empowered to thrive.
